The Bears and the Bulls in a Nutshell

          

          With site traffic increasing at a rate in which I didn’t expect, I wanted to take some time to reiterate what the goal is here at The Bears and the Bulls. As stated in our mission statement, “Here at The Bears and the Bulls, we are dedicated to creating a single place where fans of both finance and sports can come to get the latest, most interesting news and stories from their two favorite worlds.” I would like to expand/clarify that a little by saying, it isn’t my goal here to deliver you the news of finance and sports faster than anyone else on the web. Rather, I would prefer you view this blog as a place where you can go to see a different perspective on those stories or even possibly read about stories that may have been left on the cutting room floor of the major news websites. To put it simply, I write about things that I find interesting myself. You aren’t going to find a blog post on here that is as dry of a read as the Wall Street journal, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t going to learn anything in the process. There are so many websites that are devoted to sports and, likewise, for finance. As you may have found though, there are hardly any (active ones) that devote themselves to both. For me, my life revolves around the worlds of sports and finance. What better way for both of my worlds to collide then to have others enjoy it with me?
